My name is Marta Vasconcelos and, before becoming a wedding planner, I was someone who believed in the power of encounters, stories and moments that change lives. I’m Brazilian, from Piauí, and have been living in Portugal for almost six years; events have always been my favourite way of celebrating love.
I grew up surrounded by details, colours and dreams — every birthday was a creative adventure, and when I turned 15, I had a party straight out of a fairy tale. It was then that I realised that turning emotions into celebrations would one day be my calling.
At the age of 19, I set up my first events company in Brazil, where I worked for 22 years, creating unique experiences for a variety of occasions; I also hold a degree in Business Administration. When I moved to Portugal, I brought with me the experience, attention to detail and sensitivity that this work demands.
Here, I found my way again. I encountered new landscapes and new accents — from Lisbon to the Centre, from the North to the Douro — and discovered places that are now part of my journey. This experience allows me to create weddings that respect the identity of each region and, above all, the essence of each couple.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of officiating at weddings in three countries — Brazil, Italy and Portugal — and I have learnt something valuable: no two weddings are the same, because no two loves are the same.
